If an animal has been removed from the RSPCA website, do you think it's most likely been rehomed?

Let me go and get the link to the other thread, and copy and paste my OP...

I came across two lovely little shetland ponies yesterday (George 12 and Joseph 1 in Shropshire) and went to show DH today and there have disapeared. Do you think it's because they have been rehomed, or do they just give up after a while?

Anything is possible. The ponies could have been rehomed, removed from the site to make way for another 'advert', put to sleep, ill and therefore not available...

It may be worth ringing and asking but there is no guarantee that the RSPCA will tell the truth.
