Sorry if that title sounds awful but I can't think how else to word it.

I came down to find blood in my bitches urine, she def not in season and the blood was all in the urine.

I think she might have a bladder infection.

She is insured but I changed companies and am in the first 2 weeks with the new company so not insured against illness right now,

Her appointments not until 3pm and am wondering how much you think it will be?

I have no money in the bank so have to take some from our savings but unsure how much to take.

Sorry I have no idea but had to reply as I found out my cat needed an op yesterday so you have my sympathy. Hope all is well with your dog. Am happy to tell you h ow much my bill is likely to be but probably not much help!

My vets charge £25 for a consultation, £40 for blood tests and med are generally v cheap.

My JRT had to be rushed to their special emergency hospital for bloods with istant results to confirm and epilepsy diagnosis and that only cost £65 inc meds.

I think it's mainly operations that are expensive.

£100

Thankyou, I think I'm just worrying it will run into hundreds. It will probably be below the £99 insurance excess anyways so wouldn't have claimed even if we had been covered iykwim?

At my vets that would be £20 for the consultation, £40 for blood tests, £20+ for medication. I think mine charges a lot less than some though.

Hope she is ok.

Thanks Mrs John, I'm sure she'll be OK,

I had to follow all 3 of them round and wipe their doggy tushies with tissue after to figure out which one was peeing the blood as I just found the puddle from over night.

Thanks,

we went, they think she has a bladder infection,

2 injections, 10 day course of anti-bis, cyctitis tabs and pain killers - £70 with consultation.

Not bad really but alot for us, we are intitles to PDSA treatment but can't take them
