RECIPE FOR LIVER CAKE
1lb of fresh liver, 2 large cloves of garlic,
1lb granary flour, 3 eggs, oil, milk,

Liquidise the liver, eggs, milk, garlic & a little oil. Add the flour & mix. Cook in microwave on full power for 10 mins. Cut into slices, freeze and use as required.

HOME BAKED DOG BISCUITS
8 oz sausage meat 2-3 fl oz of stock or
8 oz plain wholemeal flour, water.

Preheat oven to 180C/350F/gas 4.Mix sausage meat & flour with the stock to stiff dough. Roll out on floured surface to ½ thickness, cut into squares, or roll into mini sausages. Place on un-greased baking sheets and bake for 30-50 minutes depending on size. Take care not to burn, but they need to be hard. Cool before serving ? can be eaten by humans!

SARDINE CAKE
2 tins of sardines in oil (not brine),
5 eggs,
1 clove of garlic (or powder)
Flour to mix.

Mash sardines, mix in other ingredients to pudding consistency.
Microwave in microwave for 7 mins.
Cut into small squares. Freezes well.

DOG BISCUITS
1 lb wholemeal flour
3oz melted lard
1oxo cube
½ pint milk, or water mixture
½ lb cooked ox liver
1 egg
Optional extras: cheese, parsley, carrots

Mince cheese and liver. Mix all ingredients together and add liquid. Roll out to just over ¼ inch thick. Cut out with 2? cutter or into squares. Bake in a slow oven for about 2 hrs until crisp

DOG BISCUITS
3 lbs wholemeal flour
½ lb fat or dripping
1½ pints milk
2-3 fl oz of stock or water
2 tablespoons grated cheese,
1 tablespoon salt
3 Oxo cubes.

Rub fat into flour. Add well crumbled Oxo cubes, salt and grated cheese. Mix with milk (or milk mixture) into stiff dough. Roll out ¼ inch thin and cut into squares. Put on floured baking sheet and bake in moderately hot oven for 45 minutes. When cold, store in an airtight tin.
Variations: Dissolve teaspoon of Marmite in some of the milk, add a well beaten egg, reducing the quantity of milk by about 1/8th of a pint. Or use one tablespoon of molasses (black treacle) instead of the Marmite.

DOG ICE CREAM.
1 large tub natural yoghurt
1 medium banana
1 tbsp peanut butter
1 tbsp honey

Blend banana, honey and peanut butter until smooth. Add yoghurt and blend enough for all ingredients to mix well. Put mixture in container (old ice cream tub will do) and freeze until solid. Let stand for 10 minutes out of the freezer before giving it to the dog. This is a treat ? not a regular meal!

enjoy!!

Oh wow minimu, thank you so much, don't they all look delicious! I bet that sardine cake gives off a particularly mouthwatering aroma when cooked.

LOL at dog ice cream, although presumably that would be quite a good one to stuff a kong with.

sardine cake is fantastic - really smelly the dogs will do anything for it. Just don't to take it out of your pocket or handbag as the smells matures with age
