Have moved the guinea pigs outside and am worrying about it now

We got them at christmas. So far they lived in a cage in the playroom. We have today moved them into an outside hutch, which has a cover around to protect against wind/rain. It's now raining lots and I'm worried whether they will be okay! They've got plenty of hay in there.

They will be fine and enjoying the fresh air and being snuggled down in their hay with the sound of the rain drumming down on their roof! Don't worry .

If the hutch is covered they will be fine. I have heard that it's not the cold but the damp/draught that will do the harm. I got my GP's as babies in August and had them outside all winter and was so worried. They were covered with fleece, bubble wrap and plastic but I was so worried when we had snow for weeks. They were fine though.
