getting a bit fed up of forcibly removing cherry from dd2's tights, no matter how many times I tell dd2 to gently push her away stay calm and say no, she squeals waves her arms and legs about and then everyone gets very oover excited.
Any advice on what to do, I keep trying to shut puppy in kitchen and dining room with me, but dd2 really wants to be near her, think she is just a bit bored of being nibbled.

When does it happen dita? My pup's the same (naturally ) with one of my DC in particular who responds in exactly the way you describe.
We're working on the DC ignoring pup when they come home/into a room and that was starting to lower pup's excitement to a manageable level.

The problem really isn't the pup's though (in our case) she's just responding to her environment and the people in it, so, when my squeaky DC starts behaving in a way that isn't helpful to pup, I split them up until they've got themselves under control, then reintroduce when things are a little calmer and reminding DC squeak of the 'ignore' method.

We tried the 'yelp' theory but when squeaky DC tried it, she just managed to sound excited rather than hurt ...so pup took it as an invite for more!

cherry is only 9 weeks, dd2 is 4, dd1 is 6.5 and even worse but she is at school all day and I must admit I have kept them seperated until one of them calms down. It happens every time I leave the room with dd2, just went upstairs to hang some washing up and it happened, I think it is quite simple, they can't be together unsupervised, even for a minute. dd2 adores cherry so much and cherry is besotted with her, actually se nips at dh's feet as well, only mine that she doesn't, dores that mean she accepts me as pack leader will have to tell dh thats my role

korma, that is a perfect description, only with 2 (very squeaky at the best of times) girls. lol

You are pack leader!

I don't leave mine unsupervised at all, it limits opportunity for misunderstandings while they're all still learning.
