Mine bites my toes if she wants to get out in the middle of the night. I seem to have learned to sleep with my feet wrapped in quilt for protection.

If she wants to get in she STARES in the window. You can feel the stare even if you don't see her.

Dd1 sleeps with her window open. Her window is near the kitchen roof. He will sit on the roof, by the window at the top of the stairs and howl until she gets up and lets him in. He then snuggles on the end off dd2's bed.

When I were a lass my cat used to come in my window until one night my mum put vaseline/oil all over teh outside window sill (to stop muddy paw marks on the outside of the window).
Cat slipped off.
Never tried it again.
I was Not Impressed.

CatJosephine · 25/04/2010 14:35

My cats rarely go out but insist on sleeping on my side of the bed. I am too weak to put them out.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 25/04/2010 14:38

Mine have come in through the skylight in the loft conversion. That scared me half to death! They actually have a cat flap so they are onlydoing it to be daft!

RoscoPColtrane · 25/04/2010 14:41

We have our bedroom in the loft, the cat climbs up the roof, sits on the velux window and rubs his paws on the glass which makes a horrible squeaky noise which is impossible to ignore, I let him in and he runs straight downstairs, bastard!

booyhoo · 25/04/2010 14:42

my baby cat turns on the 'puss in boots' eyes at night when she wants in at the window. HUGE big eyes and rubing her paws on the window. you just cant ignore her. cant leave the windows open as we have found quite a few random strays snuggled up with our two on their bed.

Is no-one else singing the thread title to a Lonnie Donegan tune?
