Hi
We got two baby GP's yesterday, they are 5 weeks old and brothers. I got them from a little independent pet shop where they could show me Mum and Dad and knew all about them. I am new to GP's but have read up on here and on the net.
When we left the shop yesterday the lady said hold them and cuddle them when you get home and make them part of the family etc, which we intend to do. Everything I have read online says leave them alone for the first 24hrs or so, so already I'm abit confused as to whether I should be giving them space to settle or be cuddling them. Since they have been in the cage they have just been hiding in the sheltered part, it doesn't look like they have been out to eat anything. I have food and fresh veg in there.
Should I be worried? or do they just need time?
