Can you help rehome some rats?

Morning all! I've just picked up an email which made me think of our rat-loving MN-ers. If anyone has room, time, experience and the heart to offer a rat (or preferably two) a home, please contact the people below:

"You may not know already, but this week is the University Vivisection week of action where campaigners all over the UK are taking to universities which conduct tests on animals.

Our friends at Animal Rights Yorkshire launched a campaign called Stop Animal Experiments at Bradford (academicabuse.wordpress.com/) and alongside
tackling Bradford they have had time to take to Sheffield Uni and support ongoing campaigns at the Highgate Farm (who breed rabbits for different laboratories) and get the University of Salford to stop their animal experiments.

This is great news.

However their recent successes have lead to a number of laboratory rats needing re homing. We're told the rats are all healthy and well and although they are up north at the moment, SAEAB are prepared to have them transported down South if the right loving home is found for them.

If you could look after any of these animals, please don't hesitate to contact
[email protected] or call 07955 234194

And don't forget to look out for SARC across the summer fighting our own campaigns across the South too!"
