My border terrier pup coming in a week.

and I may explode with excitement. everything is set up for her. I really do feel like I am having another baby. the breeder said she has posted some photo's so should get them today, last time I saw her she was 3 week old. She was so tiny and cute, no idea what she is going to look like now, may have to do some googling.

She's going to look like a little fuzzy brick, and you're not going to want to put her down.

Will she be about eight weeks?

Oh, you'll have fun, but get on top of the toilet training immediately - they're bright, they get it quickly, much quicker than say a Lab, but apparently it's hell on legs if you're inconsistent, what with them being a tad independant-minded.

she is called Cherry, and she is my baby substitute, the independent minded is one of the things that sold me on the breed, my dd's are both feral, it's a trait I admire.

Congratulations! I have a BT and she is adorable. She is one now but still such a puppy. My DCs, who were not all dog lovers, are totally besotted with her. She is just such a good size for a dog in a house which is not big. We got ours at 11 weeks and she was so tiny. It is hard work in the beginning clearing up after her but you have the good weather coming which helps. Get plenty of towels to use as bedding and for after walks. Hope the next few weeks fly past.
