Hiya guys,
I took my dog too the vets a couple of weeks ago due to the fact that she was showing signs of old age etc, you know, going deaf, cloudy eyes, gammy legs.... (shes almost 9 btw)
Well the vet examined her and saw a mass in one of her ears, and said it could be a tumor, and wanted to refer her to the hospital for an operation.
Anyone elses dog had this? Had an operation to remove a mass from the ear?
I understand that each dog is different and it may not even be cancer, but I'm just wondering what to expect in terms of recovery from the operation, if it is cancerous, what may happen after that... etc
There isn't much information about ear tumors in dogs on the net... not from an owners perspective anyway.
Just wondered if you guys could help me?
