dog has bald patch on her side...read this link on net

My dog had a bald patch on her right side of her body and I read this link and I think she may have number 3 (hotspots) so I have wrapped a badage around her middle and over the patch and will see how it goes. Will the badage be ok? I dont want her to suffer any more.

I'd be worried that the bandage would make it too hot and make the problem worse.

Take her to the vets and get a proper diagnosis and treatment.

what sort of dog do you have? We have a staffy and she has been loosing hair on both her sides for a few weeks.
Vet assured us at checkup that it wasn't fleas or any other bug type thing, and it seems harmless. But they would charge ££££££'s if we wanted a blood test to make sure.

I'd take her to the vets though. Our vet said that hormones may be responsible, being a bitch.

Im booking her an appointment on Monday. She has taken the bandage off anyway so dont think anything else will work although could put her doggy jumper on but she might sweat thru night if its warm.
