I just had a free range guinea pig

Never again.

I was trying to save them stress and caused myself loads. Not sure if boy guinea pig enjoyed himself or not.

we had free range guinea pigs, and they where lovly. normally, they wont go far from their hutch
best to let him out and let him get on with it. stressing will make you feal bad and scare him. plus if you try to catch him, he will prob just run off further.

Was he not meant to be free range?

he was truly free range as in under the hutch then ran off into the bushes. I held my breath and sent ds1 out in to the wide world to get the neighbour who was a real hero and caught him for me after a while. They haven't been out today.

I was cuddling them and put one back in her hutch and the other wiggled free .

I was worried he would die in the night of shock but dh checked him and he is fine.
