Ruby and I had our first session today. It was 1-2-1 before joining the main group next week. We were both totally shattered afterwards! It's a lovely location - out in the fields of a nearby village - and the route we have to walk through means she will also have some limited contact with chickens and horses too
We are going to get plenty of practice this week. They have already warned me that the first proper session is usually disheartening and you are likely to feel out of your depth. But they were all so positive and supportive and I am so pleased we chose this training school . They have told me that I can contact them at any time if I have any questions or concerns. It is the Lynne Davies Dog Training school - in case anyone in Bucks is interested in finding a class
As well as safe lead walking, left, right & about turns, we also had a little go at some basic agility - she adored the tunnel but wasn't at all keen on the A-Frame! She then played a great game of find the teddy - which was hidden under a cone. I loved watching her sniff out the toy!
I can't wait for next week
