Hi very sad day today, went out to feed the guinea pigs this morning only to find that one of them had died during the night. She was only 18 months old and such a sweetie. Have given buried her in the back garden next to the magnolia tree

Oh you poor thing.

We lost one of our rabbits today

I´m half wondering if it the time of year.

Aw, poor thing.

Guinea pigs are lovely little things.

She was a really lovely piggy, she had an overshot jaw and had to go for her teeth clipping every 2 months and never squeaked once, she also was allergic to tomatoes and all fruit. Hope she will be happy in piggy heaven xx

Sorry to hear about your rabbit diddl, how old was your rabbit? Its very sad when you loose a family pet. I have 3 other piggies which seem very healthy and eating the equivalent of their body weight in food everyday!!!!!!

Aaaw what a shame. I bawled my eyes out in the vet's surgery when our first one died.

So sorry to hear this, it must have been quite a shock. I'm sure your piggy was very happy with you lisa34.

Thanks for your all kind word ladies, my piggies are very spoilt but that's why we have them in the first place isn't it?? In fact they eat more veggies that we do

We also have piggies and their diet is better than ours.

lisa our rabbit was only 6.

Although a Lionhead-I have heard not as hardy as others.

She seemed off food last night-by the time we got her to the vet this morning her temp was low & she was in a coma

Sorry to hear this, poor little thing. And sorry to hear about your piggy too, clayre

We lost one about a year ago, we just found her curled up in her bed one morning and she'd died in her sleep. She was only 3 and had seemed completely healthy the day before, but often that's the way with piggies, they don't tend to show illness.
