he's a 10 yr old collie. I first noticed a few months ago he had a couple. did some googling and thought probably lipomas.

last night was giving him his goodnight cuddle and found a really big one under his arm, about palm sized. he's also go a couple of small hard ones more on to of the skin than under like the others.

i'm going to have to take him to the vet to get them looked at.

Most likely just lipomas - my old girl has several. Harmless.

Vet may want to do a fine needle aspiration to check the contents - keep us posted and do not worry x

The axillae (armpits!) are very common places to get lipomas. Try not to worry, this sounds like there is more likely than not a happy outcome from your vet visit, though of course it is wise to get him checked out.

Our dog has a lump in his groin area, vet took a sample - nothing, just a fatty deposit...get her checked out.
