My puppy......

Romanarama · 12/02/2010 13:16

goes to sit by the back door and whines to get my attention. I open it, and he stays there, staring at me, while -5o air pours in to the kitchen. This happens say, every 15 minutes.

What's more. I know that this is entirely my fault, as I have been known to encourage him out to have a wee without my personal assistance by lobbing a piece of focaccia into the garden.

There. I just wanted to share that before I shout at the dog someone inappropriately.

Ah, another classic example of focaccia syndrome.

GrimmaTheNome · 12/02/2010 13:33

Oh dear, you've completely foccacia'ed up your puppy training, haven't you?

My dog occasionally does the opposite trick - goes outside and then stays there until I lure him back in with a treat. But at least its him getting cold - he only wins if its late at night.

Bella32 · 12/02/2010 13:35

pmsl Grimma

skybluewinking · 12/02/2010 13:45

I need to know the answer! What should she do?
As Bella knows, I am in the pre dog/puppy stage, and find myself irresistably drawn to any doggy threads!
and pmsl at Grimma too!
Bella, by the way, OH and DS say their heart is lost to an Irish Terrier pup, so looks like I am going to be stuck with feisty!
[wish there was a scared emoticon]

Bella32 · 12/02/2010 13:54

Skyblue: this is scared

Minimu will come along later and fix the focaccia fault with her clicker

Blondeshavemorefun · 12/02/2010 14:24

open the door, push pup out, shut the door

job done

ignore howls, he has fur

Romanarama · 12/02/2010 16:01

pmsl

I bet minimu can get her dog to make a foccaccia with the clicker.

Got time to spend as dogs making supper tonight dogcooking

What do you want recipes now as well!!!

I think it is puppy training owner here "I whine she runs and opens the door great trick and she does it without a clicker"

Bella32 · 12/02/2010 18:38

It's your school run I really envy, Minimu

Slubberdegullion · 12/02/2010 18:43

sorry but am roffling away at Grimma's 'foccacia'ed up the puppy training'.

Slubberdegullion · 12/02/2010 18:45

and at that lab in the car too, is minimu sat in the passenger seat with the clicker?

BooHooMonkey · 12/02/2010 18:51

If that was the case, surely the dog would go mental everytime it had to indicate?

minimu · 12/02/2010 18:55

Minimu is lounging in bed watching the other dogs do the chores

Why have a dog and bark yourself

tidy up

WynkenBlynkenandNod · 12/02/2010 18:55

ROFL at Grimma, superb!

Plog and I are back to clicker training classes tomorrow, feeling very encouraged at all this new free time I'll have when she's learned all this stuff - can you get them to clean the toilet?

Bella32 · 12/02/2010 18:57

Daphne got a fine for driving without due care and attention

Bella32 · 12/02/2010 18:58

But at least the baby was okay

minimu · 12/02/2010 18:59

Easy first get that clicker...............

cleaning toilet

Bella32 · 12/02/2010 19:02

Eeeeewwww!

Be careful your clicker never falls into the wrong hands

WynkenBlynkenandNod · 12/02/2010 19:08

I'm going to want a refund if all we learn is drop or something after seeing these ones !

Bella32 · 12/02/2010 19:11

Wynken

Bella32 · 12/02/2010 19:14

p.s. the one in the middle is even reading the screen

WynkenBlynkenandNod · 12/02/2010 20:00

If I'd have known they could do that I'd have packed her off with DS to suffer read Horrid Henry.

GrimmaTheNome · 12/02/2010 20:48

Uh oh, rebellion brewing

Bella32 · 12/02/2010 21:42

Got it sorted yet, Romanarana? Or are you having a Ciabatta Crisis?

Romanarama · 12/02/2010 21:49

rofl. Bella has your job got something to do with wacky photos or something?

I ran out of foccaccia so used a couple of fusilli for the evening turd prompt.

(Still pondering whether to go to golden retriever strangulation class tomorrow morning.)
