Our puppy is seven months old and since Christmas has been reliably going outside to the toilet.

Before this he would mostly go outside but was reluctant if it was raining.

Today we have had 4 wees on the kitchen floor and it's not even raining!

Please, any ideas why?

behaviour/hormones/infection. Lots of reasons. Go back to basics with him and if you have any doubt get a urine sample checked with the vets.

He tried to do it again today but I spotted him mid flow and whisked him outside to finish off then praised him loads.

Hopefully he'll get the idea again pretty quickly
