our dog has a problem with her eye and has been the vets a number of times with it and is always given the same antibiotic for it.
Her eye is bad again again today and me and DH were woundering if we just rang up the vet and explained to him would he just give us a precription for more drops?
As we dont really have the money for a consultation when we know the outcome and the treatment she will be getting.

Do you think it's worth to ring up and ask?

Definitely worth asking.

Asking will not hurt, but the vet may well want to see you. The chances are it is the same problem, but with eyes taking risks is not a good idea and the vet may want to check to be on the safe side. Has the vet looked into why this keeps happening? Has the eye been tested for tear production levels for a start? Also there are specialists who you could ask to be referred to, but obviously this does cost money.

yeah she was sent to a eye specialist they did tests and everything came back normal, its when she grooms herself and scratchers her eye with her dewclaw.
