anyone recommend a type of dog that gets on with pet rabbits?

previously i had a jack russell and a whippet who would eat chase rabbits.
we have loose rabbits in the garden but wanted anotehr dog, having sadly lost ours just before christmas.
probably anotehr jack russell woudl have the same anti rabbit attitude.

I have my rabbits in runs and I have 2 STaffordshire Bull Terriers who just ignore them. I'm not sure how the dogs would react if the rabbits were loose though.

We have brought our rabbit inside this xmas bcos its so cold,weve never had a rabbit and a dog before but to see Buddy(staffy/pitbull cross) with a tiny dove grey dwarf rabbit nuzzling into him is lovely.

We let the rabbit roam around at his own will and buddy just accepted him.

Aw nickschick do you have a picture? I've got a picutre of my old staff (Fagin) being cuddled by a kitten.

Ill get one on my prof chillhippi - the rabbit nibbles buddys tail too .

NOT springer spaniels.

Pugs are really laid back but very expensive.

MY Springer Spaniel ignores my rabbit. However my last Springer would have squashed the rabbit by bouncing in unbelievable excitement.

My collie would herd it if it was loose which would be ok if I wanted it back in the run but not so good for the rabbit as it might not want to go back in as soon as it got out!

My Sheltie cross who is sadly no longer with us was good with the rabbits.
