Will post on the forums and email to my dog rescue contact nationwide. I do hope she's found safe and well.

Just in case it hasn't already been done, please advise the owner to post on DogLost and to use Facebook etc, call the dog warden and local pounds and rescue daily and put posters everywhere possible. Posters bring a surprising amount of luck.

Often it helps to make the missing dog too hot to handle. There's more than one concern here, not only is she tiny and defenceless, she's also injured AND worth a lot of money. So, make EVERYONE aware, ask local shopkeepers, other dog walkers, and put those posters up. Its sadly often the case that a reward will bring results where an appeal on its own won't.

Also, very sadly, its wise ime to put lots of posters up in "undesirable" areas, where it's more likely that someone dodgy has found her and knows her financial value. "Too hot to handle" especially applies here. Make sure those posters and everyone else knows she is chipped, say she's spayed even if she isn't (thus no value to breed from). Ask the dog warden where HE would look, whether he knows any obvious places.

Good luck.

Great news, shes been found, albeit with a hurt leg but is safe at home now...........a couple found her in their garden when their dog wouldnt stop barking!
Thankyou everyone!
