Puppy Questions?

My pup is 17 weeks old, long do they sleep for at this age approx?

Also, he has a bit of an upset tummy but I have recently wormed him with the correct dose of adult wormer (as opposed to correct dose of puppy version) and he has had a few scraps he shouldn't have had (children left porrige bowl in reach, cat brought mouse in that he ate barf and he had a swim in a pond and took in some manky water, don't ask...). Somy question is, is there anything I can do to clear this up?

At 17 weeks they should sleep more or less all night, and have a few naps during the day too.

Which wormer did you use, and how much?

And is he vaccinated?

Yes, he has had his vaccinations.

It was Drontal, half a tablet.

I was a bit worried he slept too much but he sleeps all night and has two sleeps a day so that is fine

Half a drontal is fine for a pup over 3 months old who weighs 5kg.

They do need lots of sleep

Re the upset tummy, try him on plain boiled rice with chicken or fish for 48 hours, then gradually reintroduce his normal food.
