Thinking of getting guineas

I love guineas, my 2 staffies live with my boys dad now so no dogs around to trouble them, but don't really know where to start. I'd want a big cage with levels if poss and also an outdoor run. Do they need to be kept in a shed or is an enclosed hutch OK? And if you get 2 or 3 should they be the same sex? Thanks in advance

It's OK have chosen a hutch and run. Have been a bit over the top and chosen a hutch that you'd almost need a mortgage for but that's probably best as I want more than one. Rescued guineas are often homed together which is good, and will probably already have been neutered

I thought they didn't often operate on piggies?????

I'd go for a group of females.
