I would just like to confess that I have well and truly traumatised all the animals tonight with the new handycam I bought today! I filmed a few minutes to try it out, and then played it back on the TV - the cat sat inches away from the screen watching herself with saucer eyes, looking like she was about to have a total freak out ("why is that giant cat staring at me?!"), and the dogs were very confused about how they could hear us talking when our mouths weren't moving - they kept running to the TV when they heard their names, they were very confused!
I also managed to annoy DH by zooming in repeatedly on his beer belly and hairy nostrils - 60x optical zoom was obviously invented for exactly this purpose!
At this rate nobody will be talking to me in the morning! Maybe I should hide the battery incase he tries to get his own back by filming me snoring
