Sorry I know you've told me 1000 times, but I'm not sure how to count. I realise it's 5mins / month of life / day, which is 15 mins for us, but...

Today I took him for a walk which took about 25 mins, but only because I was stopping every 2 steps or so to get him to sit down and behave nicely etc. The distance we covered would have taken me approx 3 mins at a brisk walk. What does this count as?

Well I know that was OK. Great in fact thanks to that site you linked to yesterday, but what if I wanted to do it again in the afternoon?

I would only do the 5 mins per month on the whole day. so 15 mins per day

I know really really frustrating when the dog is going ape from all that puppy energy and you just want a good walk.

Is that really all they need at that age?
I just assumed it was per walk.

I was tempted to take my puppy for a walk to DCs school but its a 20 minute walk each way. We would have a 5 minute rest between walking ther and back. I assume that at 13 weeks, this is too much for him? In which case, I will leave it for the warmer weather when he is older and for now, will stick with using the car
