...a rather portly adult rabbit, or rather ex-rabbit. This must be my present for letting them sleep in the house in the cold weather .

Fortunately DH does the corpse removal. I don't think I could have faced this sad scene from Watership Down. Cats are all looking smug of course.

Mine quite often hides them (under bed, behind sofa...) so the first thing you notice is the whiff...

Well the kittens are now banished for the night. Serves them right (they do have a cosy bed in the garage, I'm not completely mean). The ancient cat is allowed to stay in, he's smaller than the rabbit so I suspect wasn't involved.

It did look juicy though, really I should have skinned it.
