I was browsing through old puppy pics and videos last night and decided to upload a couple of video clips of our last litter. They are irresistably cute!

Very cute.

Lovely chunky pups, Midori - they are a very nice type.

Makes me nostalgic for when clients used to bring new pups in for a check over, and us vet nurses would attempt to smuggle one away under our uniforms...

Midori this has made my day - they are fab.

When is your next litter due?

midori1999 · 11/01/2010 17:18

Thankyou. I love watching them play, especially with Mum. It makes me sad when people restrict Mum's access to pups.

Minimu, we have actually decided to have another litter from the same Mum (her second litter and probably her last) when she comes into season in Feb. Partly as she has had several phantoms, so we want to now get her spayed to prevent the risk of pyo, and partly (mainly I suppose!) because I want another pup to show. Our youngest, now two, isn't keen on the show ring, so I don't see the point in carrying on. Will be nice to have a pup to show again!

Oh they are absolutely gorgeous !

Oh you lucky thing. Although I spend so much time with dogs I have never breed from my dogs I am very envious. Keep us informed of what happens - maybe a doggy cam would satisfy my puppy urges.

Thanks, I do feel very lucky, but it is also a huge responsibility.

If all goes to plan, there'll be no end of pictures and videos, so don't worry on that front...

I've never wanted to breed any of my dogs - as you say, it's a huge responsibility. So much can go wrong and then you have to find owners good enough for your pups

Used to love doing c sections though - being handed a little bundle to rub Best part of the job.

midori1999 · 11/01/2010 19:23

My main problem uis, the more I do it and the more I learn, the fewer owners do seem good enough for my pups... I can remember meeting our oldest girls breeder years ago and thinking she was very, very scary, almost quite rude, and DH called her the 'puppy police'. Now I am her...

I am lucky in that I have had six people waiting for a puppy for over a year now, so hopefully none of not too many new homes to find.

I should imagine that with pups as nice as yours, you don't have to look too hard for owners

Scariest breeders are the best, imo.

RTKangaMummy · 11/01/2010 20:57

How old are they in the video?
