Tibetan terrier or Cockapoo?

Does anyone have either of these breeds of dog?

I have been reading up and researching for ages and decided that one of these would best suit us.

They both seem to be great dogs and I can't decide between them. I know two very reputable breeders of both, both of whom I am in good contact with and have me down on their 'list'.

My dc are between 4 and 12 and we already own a mini labradoodle.

I know some Tibetan terriers - they are virtually the same dog as the Hungarian Puli, just with very different coats (in my opinion)

I like them a lot tho they can be a bit yappy and spooky

have never met a cockapoo

Much as I despise this whole "designer crossbreed" nonsense, I will say that the cockapoo I know is just lovely. Lively, sweet-tempered, good with people and other dogs and not difficult to train.

I've had both and I prefer the TT. The cockerpoo was v hard work, wouldn't settle even after lots of exercise, slow with toilet training and highly strung. Others in the litter were easier so maybe theres quite a lot of variation. was v sweet looking! But for me TTs are lovely family dogs.

Can't speak for the Tibetan terrier, as I know nothing about them, but I have a cockapoo (14mo now) and he's the nicest-natured dog in the world. As pikelet said, lively, sweet-tempered, loves people, just wants to play with all other dogs he meets and has been very quick on the uptake with training and learning new things. I know half a dozen or so owners who report similar things.

I own a cockerpoo who I love to bits, but you are much more likely to get a true to type with a TT. I have seen a large number of cockerpoos they come in a variety sizes, shapes and coat types.

I have a fantastic cockapoo. He is great with kids, lets all the children at the school gate touch his face. He has lots of energy but was quick to train.
