bella, minimu etc: dog lost on moors in snow found safe after THREE days [shock]

I'm afraid I can't link to a heart-warming local newspaper piece but wanted to share this just in case you needed any affirmation re how amazing dogs are...a labrador called George was lost on Kinder Scout in the Peak District on Saturday. It's the highest point in the PD and is WILD, freezing and currently in feet of snow. he turned up on Tuesday in the village where the family had started their walk. what a star.

What a great story I know that area well and it is amazing that he found his way back to the village! Bet the family are ecstatic

one of my mums dogs was sold to a shepherd in wales (he was a border vollie, they were dirt poor) and he tracked them back to wigan.....

dogs really are tops
