Hiya,

Thanks for asking.

His pelvis is broken, but he came home afterall. He has pain killers and a liquid that helps him heal.

Hes got to be kept in his crate near the back door as thats the only area that has nothing in or no window for him to jump up to, hes not allowed to do that.

We can't even bring him in here because he automatically goes for the window. He just doesn't understand bless him!

He should be fine though, but I don't want to let him out again ever!!

Glad to hear he is home

I remember our tom being in the crate for weeks on end. They can get so frustrated in the first few days but they will adjust after a week. Will he still try to jump if the crate is closed?

I totally understand that feeling of not wanting them to go out again. It took ages for me to be able to stomach him going on the prowl. Even now, he goes through periods of 2 nights of wandering (despite being neutered) and we cannot relax until he is back.

oh and I found that those plug-in pheromone (sp?) gadgets helped him relax more. You generally use them when cats are stressed out. Made a big difference to ours. You can get them from the vets or possibly petcare stores too.

Any aroma isn't detectable by the human nose, btw
