I'm not in the area at all but need to put my dog in kennels near there for 3 days in May.

Was thinking about Wayside Boarding kennels as it appears to be near the race course.

Does anyone know if its any good? Thanks.

Is it for Whychwood? I have no helpful comments but am quite excited at the prospect of meeting everyone

It is yes. Am going to book tickets on Monday. It won't sell out before then will it?

I'm planning on going touring round the Forest of Dean area for a few days before Wychwood as I've got the whole week off work. So want the dog with us for then but will need kennels for the festival.

I'm also very excited about meeting people.

When I went to Blissfields last year it was just me and DD. Though I did meet someone there from a campervan forum (hadn't realised she was going to be there) but I didn't know her at all and she was with a big group.

So it would be nice to be able to meet up with people. We'll have to sort out a rendez-vous point.

Hope you get somewhere lovely for your dog.

I don't think it will sell out before then, unless all the MNers book at once! I'm hoping not anyway because I have to wait til next week to book also.

I've heard good things about Paws and Whiskers and also Pet Carers

I am thinking about Wychwood too. Are there a lot of Mners going then? I thought the date was June this year though? Or am I thinking of a different thing altogether?

GothDetective · 03/01/2010 19:30

Ah yes. I've realised this morning after booking tickets that I've got the wrong date in my head for Wychwood. It is the first weekend in June not the last weekend in May.

So thanks for the kennels advice but I won't be needing it. I can still go to Wychwood but I don't have the whole week off work so not planning a trip round the Forest of Dean prior to the festival.

There are quite a few MN'ers going. There's a thread on Lone Parents about it, but you don't have to be a lone parent to go.
