Semi long haired cat, lots of furball wretching. He has brought up furball and silver parcel ribbon

He has still been wretching but has stopped again. Could well be more ribbon in there. Will he eventually bring it up or do we need a vet visit.

Shall I give him more furball paste in the meatime - he brought the first lot up 30 mins after the paste - coincidence or did it help?

Does he seem unwell in himself at all? not drinking, not wanting to wash?

SleighGirl · 29/12/2009 21:16

seems fine himself gorging himself eating, drinking, washing, sleeping, wanting company.

He did throw up his 5pm meal though.

I do know ribbon, string etc can do a heck of a lot of damage to their intestines, and the vomiting could well indicate an obstruction.
If it were my cat I'd call the vet asap tomorrow.
Best of luck & keep us posted please.

he is so greedy, he's more like a labrador than a cat
