Excellent idea - my cat usually has a wrapped something under the Xmas tree courtesy of SIL who is animal mad.

My cats would like one too. I'll get the children onto it at once.
I am only hoping they don't give us any more presents. We have beef for Christmas day, but in the past couple of weeks we have also been gifted a rabbit, a rat, a pigeon and many small rodents too mangled to identify. None of which I would wish to add to the Christmas menu, though of course I understand that it is the thought that counts.

Oh ace!!

We I ALWAYS buy the animals presents. Fair enough its only from £1 shop but we always get the something.
This year the cats have got a toy stocking each (2 cats) and the dog has some festive treats and a pull toy.

One of my cats also has a Christmas present. It's the bit of green ribbon/bookmark thing that pokes out of the bottom of Nigella's Christmas Book. It is the most exciting thing that has ever happened to her.

Heh. My cats alwyas get presents too. And they've always loved a cardboard box.

They're just like children really - you get them the Super Expensive Catnip Light-Up Ball Of Glittery Feathers and they spend all their time playing with the piece of string it came tied to the card with.

I am a saddo and have BOUGHT the new cats a present this year. 6 cat toys for a quid at poundland. I am overcompensating for the years spent in servitude to living with a miserable toy-refusing old moggy.
