Cavalier Jack Russell cross?

We are thinking about adopting a cavajack puppy that we have come across. We have no other pets and 3 school age dc.

I have been googling jack Russells and there are stories about them being aggressive to other animals.

This little guy seems to be 3/4 Jack and 1/4 king charles cavalier.

We are pretty experienced dog owners and very active-he'll get a lot of exercise and training.

Are jacks really dangerous? I only ever knew one and he was a sweetheart.

Thanks.

Mine was a nutter. Utterly bonkers. But not a danger to other dogs. They can be though. I suppose with all dogs it depends very much on how they are socialised and trained.

No pedigree Jack Russel Terrier. A bitch. She had little big dog syndrome, but would back off and hide behind me if any dogs got too close to her.

She could run and run for hours chasing seagulls. Off leash she never bothered with other dogs at all. It was only on leash she would start pulling/barking and only at much larger dogs

Jack russells being terriers were bred to be a bit feisty to deal with rats etc. There's no reason why they shouldn't be good with other dogs and animals if they are well socialized when young.
They can be quite noisy too.
(obviously they may not be very kind to rats!)

i know several. One is a cantankerous old bag the other is lovely, the rest in the middle somewhere, none of them particularly aggressive.
