anyone got a cat house?

I am thinking of getting the cat a cat house for Christmas. Those plastic cylinders for the garden, you know the thing.

Has anyone got one and are there any disadvantages? Does your cat use it and do other cats stay out? Or do they all share it harmoniously?

My cat is the wussiest on the block.

My landlords have a real house for their cats (well, a section of a converted barn), complete with timber cladding and a big window for the cats to look out of whilst they are in their beds. My landlords are nicely mad .

I don't think that's what you had in mind though?

no, salts. If I had a section of converted barn, I would be in it.

Lucky cats. I bet they do not apprecizate it.

I know, you and me both - it is utter utter madness. They are ridonculously wealthy with no kids, so the cats rule.

OP have no idea what you mean but am intrigued!
Do you have a link?

Is this sort of thing. I have seen them in some catalogue or other. I thought it would be cosy for her if she is outside for ages and can't get in.

We have one like that. The daft cat won't go into it and would rather shiver on the back step.

He did go in it when we had it sat in the lounge but only if I took the cat flap off. He seems to have a fear of cat flaps as he won't go into the garage through the cat flap either.

If anyone has any idea how to persuade a cat through a cat flap that might help.
