Kitten been spayed & desperate to go out - should I let her?

She was spayed on Monday, and has been fine since. DH collected her and apparently the vet didn't say anything about whether she should stay in or not.

A friend has just had her kittens done too, and her vet said for the female to stay in for ten days. We haven't let ours out yet as thought would go with friends advice, but she is desperate to go out and is sat crying at the door.
She's even managed to get up to a very high windowsill and knock a vase off in her attempt to escape

What should I do?? Feel so sorry for her, but then am aware of risk of infection/breaking stitches... Any advice?

Thanks Dusty says thanks too

What are the recommendations for the length of time they should stay in? Can't seem to find any advice on the net...

Tbh we used to advise that, once they were fully recovered from the anaesthetic ( I.e. a day or so) you can let them out if they're desperate - they can do themselves as much harm going mad indoors as if they go out.
