Who was it that pulled a pair of tights out of their dog's bum?

Because I have just had to do something similar!

Codie (7 mth lab) was out in garden and wanted to come back inside. I noticed something hanging from her bottom. Long poo. Yuck.

So I triple bagged my hands and grabbed some kitchen roll and went out to her. At this stage she is trying to get to it but twisting round in circles. I finally manage to grab her and get a grip. I pull. She makes a little yelp. Out comes poo and the inside stuffing of the bed she chewed up yesterday!

DH owes me SO much money for that.

I can't even pick up poo in the garden without heaving.

And yes this is the muddy dog from yesterday!

She is lucky she is cute I tell you!

Nobody warns you of these moments when you are oohing and aahing over the Andrex ad!

Nice innit?

My Boxer eats grass, though I pull her away whenever I can. She often has to have poo necklaces pulled out of her. She also chewed up a fabric toy once and this happenned. Very pannicky behaviour whilst it is stuck.

Years ago we had a Yorkshire terrier and she always had a poo stuck on her bum whenever she'd been for a poo. So she often needed cleaning up afterwards, (nice).

One day she had a particularly stubborn piece of poo that I couldn't clean off and so I pulled it and a piece of rope about 1 foot long came out of her bum. I couldn't believe it, especially as the rope was longer than she was! Poor thing.

Not one of my nicer dog memories

See, this is where dog bums get you. Bleurgh.

SausageRocket · 10/12/2009 20:03

QOD, it took me about 4 reads of your post to realise that you didn't mean a tie like a man wears with a suit. LOL, I was trying to figure out how the heck you knew it had come out of a bin bag., Then I realised you meant the yellow plastic tie from the top of a bin bag.

at pulling anything from an animals arse.

Our cat once did a poo that consisted of a series of little round turds that were joined together by that sparkly Xmas decoration stuff (lametta?).

Very festive

at festive poos! Our cat once left a wriggly worm on the corner of the coffee table after wiping her arse on it.

JustKeepSparkling · 10/12/2009 20:09

at most but PMSL at Norbert's 'festive'

Goober · 10/12/2009 20:09

NorbertDentressAngel: That is what is called the Poo Necklace.
