It is not serious. Just a minor scrape to his head. But he is laying on eth sofa now looking very sorry for himself. Methinks he will milk this for all he can

He has been tcp'd. T'was an afghan hound apparantly. It sounds like poor Scruff caused it himself, by tyring to mount a male dog . Though the Afghan bit first.

I don't think it upset his walk, though. DH says he carried on happily and was fine when he met two Staffies, His usual, happy friendly self.

Dh was in shock and didn't know what to say to the owners of the other dog. Who claim that it is out of character for their dog behave that way.

Oh dear, poor Scruff. Can't say I blame the Afghan though! Hopefully your dog will learn his lesson and only mount less dominant dogs (and bitches come to that ) in future.

He's probably upset by the TCP ... recently ours smelled it on one of us for the first line and the look of sheer horror on his face was quite comical. It was like it was incomprehensible in canine olfactory language.
