Do Labradors wreck houses?

I have a new puppy and all the reading I did said that they only wreck house if they are not exercised and under stimulated.

But everyone coming to my house as said couldn't I have got a bigger dog and that he is going to wreck my house are they right about house wrecking. I didn't think labs were that big Everywhere I looked put them on the bigger side of medium dogs.

Thanks I have now confined him to the kitchen when I am out and he seems better with the house he was going for my carpet so gonna get some spray.

The favorite story to get rid of MIL is when I got my first house next doors window was looking into my kitchen window. No one noticed this except MIL and FIL who are separated and refuse to speak to one another.

Both said the same thing the window was illegal and that it took all my privacy I laughed and said to them both well I am hardly likely to be naked in the kitchen to which both went bright red.

Now if MIL is being irritating I start saying funny both you and Fil noticed that window I wonder what you got up to in the kitchen. This is followed by MIL quick departure it is brilliant. I have loads of others that is just the most common one.
