My guinea pigs are keeping me company

The pet shop gave me a carrier box to put them in while I clean out their hutch as it is very wet and muddy on the lawn, and they are cuddled up in the box in the kitchen. I want to get them out and let them have a run around but DH won't let me .

I let mine run around the living room all the time. They love it! just make sure they have something to "hide" in if they need to and they'll be well away. Mine got so excited one night he jumped off all four legs so high that he landed on his back, then whinged about it, then did it again lol

He also crashed into the chair head first and almost knocked himself out as he was charging around so fast.

It's really funny to watch them. Just wait until DH is out and let them have the run of the house for an hour ;)

mine came in the house everyday for a run around (even though they had constant access to their run outside) mind cables though they do like to nibble on them!

I've just been lying on the sofa reading with a bunny lying on me - very relaxing and warm (although if my DH asks, I was clearing out the cellar)!

I think DH was worried they would mess everywhere or get stuck somewhere. They are still don't want to be picked up but will stay for a cuddle when we can get them.
