....How totally wonderful owning a dog is!!!

I have read a lot of threads recently about how much hard work they are....all the hair....all the problems...

But just wanted to redress the balance and say that getting our gorgeous 9 month old crossbreed doggy is the best thing that has happened to me in ages!
Yes it is hard work , yes she can be testing...(hmmm not mentioning small hole nibbled in lounge carpet!)....but she is SO worth it. I am so in love with her!
Why did I never know having a dog was so good? I would have had them years ago...LOL
Now just wondering if I could trade any of my 6DC in for a dog...LOL

You can have more than one dog, you know!

I have to totally agree with you.
We got a 4 month old CollieXSpringer Spaniel about 3 weeks ago and omg is it hard work but she's soooo lovely.
She is great with DD who wants to do nothing ore than play with her all day, hand feed her her dinner and get her to give kisses. She's ace!

oh and if you are going to have another make sure its a rescue.

Tizzy is a rescue and the foster dogs we had before her were rescues and they're all ace.
If you want to foster - let me know cos I know a perfect place to aim you.
