The next best offering, from DD2, is Winston Churchill.

Boozy Rouge is good. So long as you are confident that you will ~never shorten to Boo, which is cutesy.

snigger · 07/11/2009 22:02

I think we'll always, always, stick at Boozy at the very least.

We got openly snurked at by vets' receptionist the other day because of our GP's name.

snigger · 07/11/2009 22:03

I just can't see myself shaking a bag of Go-Cat while chirping "Winston Churchill".

is it called testicle?

snigger · 07/11/2009 22:04

Spill?

The name in question?

Was it Apple?

OP posts:
Deadworm · 07/11/2009 22:05

Not Apple or Testicle.

snigger · 07/11/2009 22:06

Descent Into The Vernacular?

Mononucleosis?

Biscuit?

Alright: HandsomePete.

snigger · 07/11/2009 22:08

God, you didn't call it Columbian Supper or something, did you?

Boozy Rouge is fine. My sister's cats are called after rock bands

snigger · 07/11/2009 22:09

I like.

We have a Squiff and a Humphrey, so the snurkage is a suffering in common.

{grin]

Boozy Rouge is v good. Is the kitten drunk and red?

cheesesarnie · 07/11/2009 22:10

i love it!boozy rouge is fab!and so is handsome pete!

our vets laugh at our pets name-rabbits were called carrots and lettuce, gps called guinea, piggy and coco.but they have nothing on boozy rouge and handsome pete!

snigger · 07/11/2009 22:10

All our cats have been named after something alcoholic.

After exhausting Guiness, Gillespie, Bailey, Cosmo and Pimm, we're venturing into the lesser known cocktails.

My brother's guinea pig was called GP

chalky3 · 07/11/2009 22:12

Anything goes for pets but as long as the madness doesn't extend to children's names you're fine!

snigger · 07/11/2009 22:13

(Squiff and Humph are guinea pigs, btw)

I suppose, at a push, Winston Churchill would have passed as something alcoholic, but I'm glad there's at least a passing approval for Boozy Rouge, it works for me.

Want to see her?

chalky3 · 07/11/2009 22:13

Not that I think it's a crazy name, I like it, it's 'unusual'

Deadworm · 07/11/2009 22:13

Winston Churchill was something alcoholic too though, I suppose.

chalky3 · 07/11/2009 22:13

Yes please

Deadworm · 07/11/2009 22:14

We are v conventional with our children's names -- Rover and Squeaky.

snigger · 07/11/2009 22:14

Neither boozy, nor red, but we think she'll carry the moniker with panache

chalky3 · 07/11/2009 22:14
