No joy and 2 of the places clearly thought I was mad.

Any ideas, I am losing the will to live and might just put them in my bed.

What sort of cover, FAB? Do you need a waterproof one or the put-over-the-budgie type for night?

Try a mini tarp and hook it on with bungee straps if it is for an outdoor cage. Northern Tools and Machine Mart have them.

I want something that will keep them warm and dry now the weather is changing but also protect them from flies in the summer.

Thank you tmmj, will take a look.

tmmj - that is exactly what I want but not the right size. They only sell covers to fit the hutches they sell. Mine is 5 foot by 2 foot by 2 foot I think.

We used carpet in the winter, 2 layers in the real real cold, mind you we had a perspex front to cover the grid thing and a 2 partion hutch with the doorways at opposite ends to reduce drafts and they had a bed box in the main bit

So the measurements we came up with must be wrong as they said it wouldn't be deep enough. I will get DH to measure the hutch when he comes home. Thanks
