Really quick help needed - can I use Frontline intended for cats on my dog???

I know I can't the other way round as the dosage for a giant dog will kill a cat but can I use the cat one on the dog?

I want to do it now as I've just spotted a flea and I have none of the dog one left.

I would try calling Frontline and find out.

Otherwise wait till you can get some more tomorrow as one flea isn't going to harm anyone. The cat stuff is probably an insufficient dose anyway, so you will have to re-do the dog (and you'll need to do the cat too).
