He used to drink quite a lot, but suddenly stopped using the bottle. I bought a new one, but to no avail. Now I just give him water in a bowl,he drinks from it, but sometimes kicks it and his cage gets wet and the water contaminated. He does not drink as much as he used to. I am worried. Please, advise.

Provide both so he has a choice. If he wants it he will take it and at least he has a clean source all the time if he does contaminate the bowl. If you think he is unwell for any reason then best see the vet for a check over.

Mine goes through phases. For several weeks she will drink a lot and then has a spell of not drinking much at all. Is he having lots of veggies as he'll get water from them?

If you are worried, go see the vet to get him checked out.

check his teeth or take him to vet to check
