Today we have collected our new yellow labrador puppy - he is gorgeous.

He has been so playful today then at dinner time he crashed out - he has had a lot to take in. He is due another meal in an hour and he likes his food but not sure he will be awake!

Vet booked for Friday for first vaccinations.

Hope he has a calm night and doesn't get too stressed.

His family name is Alfie - named by dd.

He did well last night - only a little fuss at 5am but settled himself again.

He is gorgeous and we are learning about each other quickly. Only 1 puddle inside today

He slept through last night! Took my ASD son 8 years and medication to do that! LOL

I have pics, I will smile at dh to help me upload them. It's about time I created a profile, I must have been on mumsnet a couple of years now

Alfie had his first injections today; he was weighed too - over 6kg at 8 weeks old, he is going to be a very big dog. Vet says he is very healthy specimen which is a relief with labradors.
