sticky eye in kitten

our new kitten (we have had her 2 days) has a sticky eye. we are wiping it with clean boiled cooled water on cotton wool. she is eating and drinking fine and does not seem distressed. any advice?

She needs to be seen by a vet tomorrow. A sticky eye can be a symptom of an ulcer on the cornea, which left untreated could permanently affect her vision. Hopefully it is just conjunctivitis, but she should be checked over to be on the safe side.
