Cat dribbling and not herself

I can't get close enough to her to have a look, she's in the bushes and I can't extract her but she is dribbling what looks like jelly and its all down her front.
Could she have been stung in the mouth?
Otherwise she looks fine. Tongue protruding slightly. She hasnt been in the house all morning which is unusual for her.
Of course being a bank holiday it would mean a call to the on call vet with extra costs I should think.
Can I just leave her and see how she gets on?

I wouldn't leave her tbh. How about calling the Vet and seeing what they think is the best thing to do?

Yes I did wonder about doing that. I suspect that they will say bring her in though.
Ok will look for number now.

Just managed to get her out from the foliage and examine her.
Apart from dribbling and growling she seems fine. No temperature, dry nose. Quite perky. So am going to leave her to herself with some water next to her and see how she gets on.

Does the whole foaming at the mouth thing happen when they catch a frog or a toad? It rings a bell.

My cat foams at the mouth and dribbles really badly during and after car journeys. I'm not sure if this is down to stress or travel sickness. She could well have eaten something which has made her feel sick, or got a fright somehow?

I would probably be inclined to leave her for a bit to see if it stops and if not then phone the vet.

She has spent the whole day behind the plant sleeping. She doesn't seem to be dribbling anymore though. I think she could have been stung and had a bad reaction.
She is nervy so may have just had a shock, been chased or something.
No frogs around here thank goodness.
I called her about half an hour ago and she woke up and looked around but not budging.
Am going to see how she is in the morning.
Luckily it is warm out.

Maybe. I had a look in her mouth earlier but saw no redness or swelling.
