No, please don't give a dog poultry bone. At best they cause constipation, at worse they splinter and perforate the oesophagus, stomach or intestines. I recently treated a dog who ended up with a chest full of pus and died after eating chicken bones.

NEVER give a dog ANY cooke bones-for exactly the reason you mention.

Raw bones (even poultry) are fine as they bend and don't splinter.Many of the whippet community feed their dog raw chicken wings.
