One official inside the house.
One unofficial in the garden.

fruitshootsandheaves · 13/08/2009 21:09

I only have 3 but I'd have 20 if DH would let me

norktasticninja · 13/08/2009 21:10

I have two, but it seems like four, they're Siamese and very present indeed...

CMOTdibbler · 13/08/2009 21:11

3 - the rule is no more than one per person . At least, thats the current reasoning..

mel1981 · 13/08/2009 21:12

I have 3, all completely dfferent personalities too

Joolsiam · 13/08/2009 21:12

I had 3, now 2 - also siamese, so plenty of purrsonality

If DP allowed, I'd probably have at least 5. I know lots of breeders who have frightening amounts

wannaBe · 13/08/2009 21:14

I love siamese.

I have two - moggies though.

I used to work with someone who had seven. she bought a persian to breed from, then when the kittens were born she couldn't bear to part with them so kept them all.

Bella21 · 13/08/2009 21:21

Had 5 at one point.

Now down to 3

PeppermintCream · 13/08/2009 21:25

Only one, but when we were kids we had 17 at one stage (and 8 children)!

LadyGlencoraPalliser · 13/08/2009 21:26

I have two. Would like another but DH says no.

HecatesTwopenceworth · 13/08/2009 21:28

It'll be my mother. She's got 9 indoors and about - well, god knows! I don't think even SHE does!! 10? 15? More? outdoors. They're always having bloody kittens so it's anybody's guess!

differentID · 13/08/2009 21:29

Have 2, would love more. DH says no.

elvislives · 13/08/2009 21:30

We had 4 but constant spraying and scrapping meant we shipped one off with eldest DC when they moved out.

slayerette · 13/08/2009 21:35
  1. Grand Old Man who lives outside and is snootily tolerant of the two teen-cats (coming up for a yr old) which we got for DS last year.
MissyMimi · 13/08/2009 21:38

3 all moggies.... all completely different personalities. 2 ginger (brother and sister) have had them since kittens (they're only 2) and 1 black rescue cat who is slightly crazy.

Would have more if I was allowed...

OhYouBadBadDailyMail · 13/08/2009 21:42
  1. Used to think I'd love more but when we got the third I realised that I've reached the right number in order to be able to still give them enough attention. even now they compete for my lap.
shivermetimbers · 13/08/2009 21:47

6, all rescued or strays.

UndertheBoredwalk · 13/08/2009 21:48

Just one, persian and very stupid I want another though and have been nosing around, might leave it until next year though as we have a fair bit on atm.
I love cats

madusa · 14/08/2009 13:10

we have a young litter at the moment, 3 of which are being rehomed and one is staying.

So 5 that are mine and 3 that aren't = 8 cats currently

geekgirl · 14/08/2009 13:12

I've only got 1. But my friend has well over 20 (23 I guess?!)! They're not house cats though, she's got a farm and they live in the barns. They won't eat economy cat food though, she spends over £100 a month on feeding them.

puddytats · 14/08/2009 13:34

I have 8! Would have more but DH has put his foot down

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/08/2009 17:49

my friend has 6

i rarely go and see her in her house as im severely allergic to cats

maybe thats why she has so many

aJumpedUpPantryBoy · 14/08/2009 18:55

4 at the moment, but at one time we had 9. I'm waiting to hear from the local cat rescue about 2 more.

MoominMymbleandMy · 14/08/2009 19:00

Two and a visitor who comes to play with them most days.

ilovesprouts · 15/08/2009 01:02

four
