So how much licking is too much licking?

I want to take the cone off
he looks so sad and keeps banging into everything which must be sore on his neck at the front where the cone digs in

when he first came home he didn't have it on and I only had to stop him licking three times in about 2 hours

could we keep it off in the day and put it on at night?

as long as he's supervised without it. If you need to leave theroom, either take him with you, or whop the collar back on.

he hasn't really looked down there tbh

I hope you've stopped feeling so guilty today. It's for his own good and yours that he was done.

PS I've always felt like crap when I've picked my cats up from the vet. Have to admit that I;ve laughed myself silly when they first try to walk each time though

My greyhound was a nightmare when he had to have his front chest area stiched. He wore a big t-shirt for weeks to stop him getting at it. He really could get on with a cone.

it was weird feeling very guilty but also laughing at him

I feel less guilty today as he is much more like himself today
